Dear Linda and family,
We remember Don as being such a sweet, soft-spoken person. He and Linda had personalities that complimented each other. We treasure memories of having Linda and Don at our yearly sukkah parties and at every important event in our lives while we lived in Buffalo Grove.

May Don’s memory be for a blessing. He was a kind and gentle man who was a cool and loyal member of the Congregation B’nai Shalom High Holiday usher corps. We will miss him.

Dear Linda & Family: SO sorry to hear about Don’s passing. May his memory be for a blessing and may he rest in “shalom”. Hugs to you.

Even though 6 years separated us in age, Don had a heart of gold and treated me as an equal rather than a kid brother. He personally financed my newer car when I attended college, was the best man at my wedding to Anita and was always there for me. I couldn’t have wished for a better relationship. May G-D bless and keep you in his eternal realm of Heaven.

I did not have the honor of knowing Donald. I, however, do consider his son, Michael, a friend. My wish is for Michael and Donald’s family/friends to find peace with the passing of a man who made a significant impact on their lives.

A wonderful man; kind, thoughtful, quiet (he would have to be, married to Linda). Although he didn’t get to say a lot, his actions spoke words. He was always there to support Linda in her many pursuits as well as helping her and the “crowd” setting up for various activities through the shul sisterhood. His dying at a relatively young age was unfair yet obviously destined. I wish he could have died at an old age during his sleep. That would have been more fitting for the person he was. Linda, my heart goes out to you and your family. As we discussed, times will be difficult after the shiva when you don’t have to run around for Don. Although I don’t live near you any more, I am always available to you by phone and I hope I can be of some help to you when things are hard to tolerate. I’m there for you girlfriend!
Don, rest in peace. You were a joy to know and will be missed.
